Terms of Service

1. Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of appplayer.app and the AppPlayer ecosystem — AppPlayer, Studio, FlowBrain, the Marketplace, and related tools (collectively, the "Services") — operated by Makemind Ecosystem, Inc ("Company", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Account Registration
You may create an account using Google, GitHub, or email authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
3. Free Software and Open Source
AppPlayer, Studio, and the Pro edition are free to download and use. The open-source core — including FlowOS and FlowBrain — is provided under its own open-source licenses (MIT), which govern those components. Nothing in these Terms restricts rights granted to you by those open-source licenses.
4. Marketplace
The Marketplace offers three kinds of items — bundles, servers, and hubs — available as one-time purchases and as subscriptions. These transactions are billed by us; we issue your receipt and invoice. All items are digital and delivered electronically; access is granted on your account immediately after payment. Prices are shown at checkout. Where you use the Services to sell to your own customers, that sale is between you and them. We are not the seller and not a party to it — we connect the payment and record what happened. You set your prices, your policies and your refunds, and you carry the obligations to your customers, including tax.
5. Subscriptions and Cancellation
Marketplace subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current rate until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. One-time purchases are charged once.
6. Enterprise and Runtime Licensing
Commercial and enterprise runtime licensing is arranged separately by quote and contract and is not sold through the appplayer.app website or the online checkout. If you are interested in enterprise licensing, contact us at support@makemind.app.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the applications, content, and bundles you create using the Services. You grant Makemind a limited, non-exclusive license to host and process your content solely to provide the Services. Makemind retains all rights in its platform, tooling, and documentation.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to: transmit malicious code or interfere with other users; reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of proprietary components; resell or sublicense access to the Services without written permission; use the Services for any unlawful purpose; or circumvent usage limits or access controls.
9. User Submissions and Marketplace Content
Items you publish to the Marketplace remain your property. You grant Makemind a license to host and distribute them through the Services. You are responsible for holding all necessary rights and for ensuring your submissions comply with applicable laws. Makemind may review submissions and remove content that violates these Terms.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Makemind does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the Services is at your sole risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Makemind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
